Has anyone else noticed the increase in people selling runes in TOA, Kaineng Center and LA? After conversing with a few of them, I think that they are selling runes from botting. They only know a few phrases and now everytime I log in I get a PM asking if I want to buy more(kind of annoying). I know alot of people hate bots, but they saved me a ton of time unlocking for PvP. I bought like 30 golds for 3k apiece and unlocked almost every superior! Also, there were 2 Superior Vigors in there and I made 1/2 my money back. Anyone else see this?

I haven't paying that much attention to the chat log lately, but you know you are in the wrong when you are buying from bots in large amounts? Don't want Anet to put a little flag on your account for 'player in connection with bots', do you?

Don't need to talk to them anymore. Don't need to spend 100+ hours farming runes either. Man I didn't know they tracked that too! Big Brother is watching.

I've heard that there are lots of silent people in Beetletun who just enter, talk to the merchant, and leave again. Leads me to believe that the bots are hitting up the Ettins for runes.

Most of the ones I bought were Avierca armour and Gaint boots. My guess is that they are farming in Mineral Springs.

so becasue someone doesnt tlak to you they are a bot? load of bollocks, when im farming im chatting in vent / or typing in alliance chat with friends, I rarely talk in trade chanel as I have nothing decent to sell, and dont use the local chanel as its full of morons. Doesnt make me a bot.

does it is even good business? i mean, i've spent some time trying to sell some gold titan armor cheaper than they advertise and i realized its just a waste of time IMO

Farming Ettins for money is a waste. Farm there only if you need unlocks for PvP and only if you are starting. The drops are decent for unlock, but I started getting the same ones over and over again after awhile. I hate grinding for unlocks, but it much faster then RA or AB.

Avierca armor from tengu and giant boots from Hill Giants.

Do you buy from warriors? or other profession?

How many times did I talk to people when I went on 121 Orozar farming runs back in the day? Zero. If I had a group, did we leave as soon as we got back? Yes. Would that look like a bot according to your definition? Yes.

The runes at the merchant are fairly priced right and are a bargin.I don't rune farm much not really nessary.
